Composite Resin Restorations and Veneers

Composite Resin veneers and restorations are made using a composite resin material commonly used in dentistry. A dentist has an expansive colour matching range to suit each unique patient.

Composite fillings are placed by etching and bonding the tooth surface. The dentist then shapes the putty like material in the mouth and a special light is used to set the resin hard. It is properly shaped, trimmed and polished of any overhangs.

Composite resin fillings are a good option for small to moderate restorations. It can also be used to improve cosmetics of teeth similar to a porcelain veneer but half the price! Composite can however discolour or stain over time.

An advantage of composite resin is that it can easily be repaired if chipped or broken
